In Denmark motorways are free, but two major bridges charge a high toll: the Great Belt (Storebælt) and the Øresund bridge to Sweden. Large cities also have environmental zones for diesel cars.

  • The Storebælt bridge is the most expensive single crossing in Scandinavia - budget it into your route.
  • Continuing to Sweden, the Øresund bridge is charged separately - you can buy the crossing online in advance.
